Watch Description

An independent Swiss watch company, EPOS was established in 1983 by Peter Hofer with a vision of manufacturing watches solely with mechanical movements despite the effects of the quartz revolution. The company quickly established a position for itself in the market, developing stunning collections incorporating fascinating mechanisms such as a Jumping Hour and a Regulator modification. The new millennium ushered in a new era with the retirement of the founder and the reins being passed on to new owners.   Under the stewardship of the Chonge-Forster family since 2002, the EPOS brand has continued to grow while broadening the product portfolio and expanding internationally. Building upon the long heritage and knowledge embedded in the company, the brand has always focused on creating highly sophisticated mechanical masterpieces at affordable prices, staying true to the company slogan: Artistry in Watchmaking. Their eclectic collections comprise sports watches including Diver's and Pilot's models; elegant designs with skeletal displays; and a dazzling array of contemporary designs of wrist and pocket watches. All their watches are fitted with mechanical movements from ETA, Unitas or Selita; and these are all customised with their own in-house designed and built complications or modifications.
